Welcome to My Smitten Kitten, my name is Angela. I am an experienced and loving cat owner and live with two rescue cats called Koko and Lala in Warwick. They were born in Egypt and came to the UK in December 2020 with the help of ‘Pet Shop Kittens – Rescue’(PSK). I lost my previous cat, Dinky (a Persian rescue), to liver disease in October 2020 and didn’t have any success finding two cats to offer a home to with UK rescues. The COVID-19 restrictions had a lot to do with this but with the help of my own cat sitter, I was introduced to PSK and on 3rd December Koko and Lala flew to the UK from Egypt.
I have lived with cats for over 30 years and have a particular love for Persian cats. I have used catteries myself but always found my cats were quite unhappy when I collected them and were often subdued for some time afterwards.
Leaving your cat in the safe and comfortable surroundings of their own home with someone you can trust visiting them whilst you are away is the perfect solution! If you are away from home for either business or pleasure, know that your feline friend is being cared for in your home will give you peace of mind whilst you are away. You can rest assured that your cat will have their needs met with the love and affection they deserve.
I continue to support ‘Pet Shop Kittens – Rescue’ (PSK) by raising funds and sponsoring cats rescued from appalling conditions in pet shops or from the streets in Egypt.
